The Royal Palms was decked out with flamingos and pineapples as the 100 Women in Finance held their annual Barefoot Beach Gala on Saturday 25 March. It was a perfect evening with a gentle breeze across Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. Guests enjoyed tropical cocktails and sumptuous food including a spit roast and gelato station. They could relax in sofas on the sand, mingle at the bar or dance the night away. The event was well attended with a great raffle and donations from guests and Royal Palms staff. The dress was beach elegance with an array of Hawaiian shirts, sun dresses, and sandals.
Dawn Cummings, President of 100 Women in Finance, and her wonderful committee arranged the event and earlier in the year they announced that Breast Cancer Foundation would be their annual charity and would benefit from the proceeds of their fund raising events. Board member, James Bovell, spoke on behalf of BCF and Amanda Pullinger, CEO of 100 Women in Finance, flew from New York to attend and spoke of her own experience of breast cancer.
We are grateful for the generosity of all our supporters and for the hard work of 100 Women in Finance for putting on an exciting, enjoyable event.
