The 11th Annual Breast Cancer Foundation fundraising gala was packed out, 616 guests attended the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman for the fun and exciting night. Guests enjoyed a lovely meal, listened to the phenomenally entertaining and talented Vicki Wheaton who was our MC and Auctioneer, James Bovell and Kim Lund also spoke along with Jen Weber from the Cancer Society, who thanked the BCF for all their monetary support, not just for this year but for the last 10 years, Dr. Ginny Hobday, BCF’s Medical Advisor also gave a very moving speech.
Shannen Doherty our keynote speaker shared her story of surviving breast cancer after being diagnosed in 2015, her story was very honest and very moving. Since returning to LA she has messaged the BCF thanking everyone for how welcoming everyone was and she said “she felt the love in the room” which we all did.
